With over 40 years of experience, we can confidently say that we know everything about using coloured quartz mineral or sand for floors. It all starts with the highest possible quality of the quartz. The quartz mineral and sand we use is specially selected by our Research & Development team. We dry and grind the minerals and sand ourselves in our specially developed process installation. In this way we can offer a constant high quality.
We Can Create Any Colour
Then minerals, also referred to as sand, can be used in their natural colour, but we can also colour the quartz with aliphatic polyurethane-based pigments pastes that we produce in our own production facility. We can offer you over 150 different standard colours, but if you want something outstanding – we can create any colour you would like. The high quality pigment pastes and the colouring process make the colours of the minerals and sand very vivid and above all that: extremely UV-resistant.
A Perfect Solution For Industrial Floors
A mortar system with added quartz or minerals is a perfect solution for industrial floors. Extremely strong, solid and waterproof, but with a nice and decorative appearance. It is comfortable and safe to work on, and with the colouring possibilities it is a very smart solution for a production facility or factory with different areas that have to be visibly distinguished from one another. That increases the safety of the workplace significantly and makes a pleasant working environment.
Multiple Sizes
The quartz minerals, also known as quartz sand are available in different sizes: 0 – 0,25 mm | 0,25 – 0,4 mm | 0,4 – 0,8 mm | 0,8 – 1,4 mm | 1,4 – 2 mm | 2 – 3 mm | 3 – 4 mm.
Of course it is possible to order a mixture of the different sizes, we have mixtures in stock but we can also make a custom-made mix if required.
